It's 11:00 pm in Johannasburg. We missed our connecting flight and the later flight Delta booked was 47 people over booked. (Better look in the cargo hold.) We ran like crazy to the domestic terminal and found out that Delta fibbed a bit. Oh well. We found a friend to help run, a student from NYU who is finishing her last semester of and MBA at Cape Town. Good thing she is a runner. We made up for 22 hours on a plane.
It is very warm here, summer you know. I found the internet terminal and mom is asleep. We called Rich on his cell phone and told him of our delay. He will be flying in to Cape Town about the same time we are tomorrow. No way to send pictures yet, and so far we just have pictures in the airplane and the room. Not too exciting.
Love you all.

Rich was having a 6 month tie burning party with some of his companions. A mission is soo much fun!!
Is that supposed to be as liberating as burning a bra?
Fun? What the hell kind of mission are they running? The tie burning ceremony is a strange ritual for a bunch of guys who plan on wearing ties for the rest of their lives.
ha ha!! good point.
I have misspelled Johannasburg, it Johannesburg.
