We received our first full letter Monday. His P-day is on Thursday. His companion is from Boise and his name is Elder Chapman. All the guys in his district are going to Cape Town and there is one sister missionary but she is in another district for now. They are the last of the South African missionaries to go to the PRovo MTC. After this they will go directly to Johansesburg SA.
He has worked in the Referral Center and is teaching some of his district how to do their laundry. He also forgot to pack his baptismal pants and tie and so I felt needed once again and got to mail it off to him. I am glad he remembered before he left the country. Lots cheaper here.
At any rate he is doing great and very happy. He appreciated all your phone calls before he went in and he is grateful for a supporting family.
He leaves for South Africa MOnday Feb 20. So he hasn't got much longer here.
