The latest Juris Doctorate Graduate

We made a successful trip to Spokane to see the latest class of JD graduates from Gonzaga University. I particularly like Afton's graduation outfit and the Angus Scottish pipe band that piped the graduates in. It was kind of cool. WEll here are the pictures of choice. And our congratulations to Jared and his great wife Abby for a job well done. And Afton too. WE love you all

Congratulations to the whole family! Jared you are amazing and you should be proud of all you have accomplished. Now get ready for all the people who stop you in the lobby at church for a little free legal advice!

Good job, Jared. This occasion calls for a glass of champagne. Better mix it with a little orange juice first though.

Mimosa! How do I know stuff like that?
Congratulations, Afton! That's so cute that your dad got a matching outfit for the occasion...were people so impressed at such a smart baby?

Hey- just because you were all out of your Stake boundaries doesn't mean you can go "testing" the drinks up there! I heard about your celebrating!!

The bishop handed me the mimosa and Mom drank the whole thing down...I only had three or four sips! Thanks everyone!

Ha ha! I think it is too funny. soooo.... What DOES it taste like??? The only taste of alcohol that I have ever had is in Nyquil-- and I got drunk on 1 teaspoon!

It tasted like club soda in orange juice. The thing is though, it smelled like yeast. I didn't notice the yeast smell until I drank half of it.

The thing that was interesting was how it felt my throat and then my stomach getting warm, after I drank it. Now I know why those St. Bernard Dogs always have a barrel of wine around their necks in the winter.

Just for the record. I did not drink the whole thing down. I took one swallow. Good Grief. This story is getting better by the minute

Once at Olive Garden in SLC I asked for the virgin daquiri and was served the not-so-virgin daquiri. Some of you may have been present...I like to tell people I've had rum. We passed it around until it was gone, saying "doesn't this taste weird? Taste this!" The server returned with a frightened look and broke the news...only it was too late...we were all totally wasted. (I may have made up that last part, but I really can't remember--it was a crazy night!)

Ha!! You guys are cracking me up. Have you all heard the story of Aunt Penny and the screwdriver-- is that what it is called?? She had one when she was pregnant with Peter because she kept having false labor. Uncle Randy had to call and ask the neighbor how to make one.. That is a funny story.
