Jessica is now a blogger too!

Okay, I am new to the blog rage. I thought I would try it out and stay in touch with my beloved extended family members. Cute pictures of all the kiddies. I don't have a halloween picture yet, but here is one that is fairly recent of the boys. Seth is 4, Jared will be 3 in December, and little Eric is five months old. I wouldn't have agreed before having three boys, but laughing at burbs, farts and potty talk really must be in the y chromosome. We are trying to teach tact and nice words in our house right now, so if you have any tips, let me know.
Have a great Day! Thanks for letting me be a part of your blog.

Yea Jess!!! We want you and your sibs to join the fun! Come on now, and get your own blog going. It's a great way to stay in touch and with cute boys like yours, you have plenty of good blogging material. Sorry, I have no advice for good manners. I still hang my head in shame when my grown-up girls have burping contests. I obviously was not effective in that teaching area. Anyway, WELCOME!

Welcome, welcome, Jessica! I can't wait to get more updates on you and your family. I feel like I don't know your boys at all! Except now I know they like to burp and fart :) I have a friend who takes her kiddos into the bathroom to "let out all their potty talk" if they're feeling so inclined. Any ideas for getting my three-year-old to stop calling everything "stupid"?

Jess! Welcome to the world of blog. Your boys are real cute. Burping and Farting should be encouraged, not stopped! I burp and fart around Afton sometimes, but being the danty girl she is, she has yet to giggle at my inpoliteness. She just looks at me a bit shocked. I love that photo.

Do you know how hard it is to teach a kid to burp on cue?
"To all a gift is given but not to all is the same gift..." or something like that. Cultivate these gifts Jessica.

Ahhh-- now you know what I had to grow up with, Jess. Add Missy into the burping contest, she always said to my parents, "but I CAN'T control it, it just comes out!!"

Hmmm, I guess I asked the wrong family about advice in teaching kids about bodily functions. Sorry...
I think I need to spend some time thinking about my parenting skills. Yesterday I told Jared we got to spend some special time together because Seth was at preschool, and Eric was asleep. So, Jared asked "Are we going to Costco?"
Sad...is that what Jared thinks "special time" is???

I think going to Costco is special. Isn't it?

Welcome Jessica!! What a great picture. Personally I have no advise on the parenting subject at hand. I failed. I was preparing letters of apology to give to my daughters in law and son in law when they married into our clan but they seem forgiving.

Costco-- ahhh that IS special time!! That is pretty funny!

Jess, I have no idea what Julie is talking about . I NEVER burp or laugh at such nonsense. I am the most polite person in my family (brrrrruuop!)

Changed my ways

Hi I have stopped using the blog because my own kids were not always reading it.  so I went to email. If you want to receive my email, jus...
