We had such a fun time with everyone during Christmas! Afton had such a blast with so many people around. She is going through withdrawl today though because she was really loving all the attention. For those who missed this hilarious moment of Ian and Afton goofing off in the couch, here is a snapshot. Ian was pretending the cushion was a fort and Afton wanted in on the action. When they sat in there together they were copying each other by whacking the cushion with their hands and bopping their heads while giggling. Such a cute pair of cousins.After I took this picture Ian asked me if he could see it and then promptly pointed out that it was a picture of "Ian and Afton in the couch!"

It really was fun. It is sure quiet now. I do find the occassional marble to remind me of what we were about. And I miss Afton's ready smile and Ian at my side. We'll just have to get together again!

Ian's other grandma couldn't figure out why Ian was tearing her couch apart and yelling, "Sandwich, Grandma. Make a sandwich!"
