Hmm, I haven't posted anything in a long time. So I am venturing back into cyberspacing and blogging. Afton is still really cute and her new favorite thing to do is crawl up to us, grab our hands, stand up, and walk around the room. She wobbles and wiggles, and is awkward with her steps but she is super cute. We think she may never crawl on her knees because it is easier to carry things while crawling on ones belly. Add to that her recent interest in walking and she may never crawl on her knews. Oh well. Who knows. Also she has two teeth. Love you all. Afton can't wait for her new cousins (by the way, Diane did the Chinese Calendar for Mike and Wendy and predicts a girl).

Speaking of girls, three out of four pregnant women in our apartment building are having girls. The pressure is on. We will let our child be whatever it will be, however.
I realized how poor my grammar was the second I posted...I guess I have been in Newton too long!! J/K. Afton looks so darn cute!! How fun to see her standing. Mike, if you do have a girl, I have lots of hand-me-downs you and Missy can share!
Just to clarify...Afton is leaning up against the wall. She is too wobbly to stand on her own...
She can do complex mathmatical equations though.
My money is on a girl with Mike and Wendy.

She really is adorable! we need to get together again so all the cousins and second cousins ( is that what they are???)can play.

Look at her little tiny self in her cute little tiny clothes! Haveing a baby made me such a softy--I want to squeeze her (in a hugging, loving way, not an abusive one)!
Loving squeezes are always welcome. I agree that we need to get all of the second cousins together. There are not alot of little kids in our ward and Afton loves kids. Whenever she sees another little kid she squeels and tries to get their attention. Last night she saw pictures of kids in a story book and she sqeeled and giggled. She needs playmates!
I checked the Chinese calendar and it says that YOU'RE a girl...
It also says that Afton is a boy...
Those dang Chinese and their fancy calendars--does this mean I wasn't really born in the year of the monkey? Because I've always kind of prided myself on that.
So what you are saying is that the calendar really ISN'T that reliable? I just can't believe it-- it all seemed so SCIENTIFIC!!?!
