It's Spring! Yahooie!
I am so very giddy that spring is officially here. What a wonderful time of year! In fact, I think I'll write a poem:
Spring
Oh Spring you are here, you're finally here!
I shout out for JOY! as I'm sure you can hear
Because I'm sick of winter and the dark days of cold,
Those boring, enclosed months so quickly get old.
But now I can see little buds on the trees
And feel a warm touch to the soft country breeze.
Come rain, come sunshine, come tulips and roses!
There is hope in spring when winter finally closes.

Can you really see buds on the trees already? That is exciting. I can feel spring in the school atmosphere. Nobody is here mentally. I think that they are outside enjoying what you nicely described.
Happy Day Happy Day. I love spring especially this year for some reason. And I always remember that it is the birthday of my best friend in 4th grade who I have not seen in upteen cabillion years...is that strange or what. Happy Birthday Wendy Burkett
Upteen cabillion? You have seen a lot more springs than I thought.
Ha ha!! Don't tell me those blossoms are already out up there in Burley!! No fair! I am excited we have little buds on our lilacs we planted last summer. I am itching to start a garden, but Cache Valley is notorious for late frosts. Beautiful picture and Happy Spring! (by the way-- way to go Aftie for walking!!!)
At BYU we used to call it "Pleasantville" in the spring bc suddenly everyone was out and on balnkets on the grassy knolls, etc. It was very quaint. Not to mention the tangible excitement in the air...love your poem.
Although I'd like to take credit for the photo, and I'd like to see blossoms like that on our trees now... alas I must admit I snatched it from the internet. I wish I could give kudos to the photographer but I don't know who he/she is. So let's all take a moment and give a shout out to that person. Thanks for the beautiful pic.
Uplifting even if the photos are purloined.
Upteen cabillion is a subpart of a frillion.
Lyndon said spring is PDA season at BYU.
I like the poem too, it makes me want to sit outside and read and write.
