I hiked most of Idaho's tallest mountain yesterday with my friend Brad Raney. We climbed all but the last 500 verticle feet of Mount Borah in about 3.5 hours. The last leg of the trip (after Chicken Out Ridge where we stopped) was covered with ice and snow. We decided to save that part for a later summer trip.
Here are some of our pictures.

You are a brave man. Just the thought of doing that mountain again without snow is scarry to me
Let me know when you do the summer trip and I will try and come.
There is little around that compares with the view from these mountains. Thanks for the pictures.
How great you get to go back up some of those hikes. I never went-- and since I am now extremely afraid of heights I am sure I won't end up going. That is one cool lookin' tree.
