Rich just sent us a nice letter with these pictures. The elder with the bag on his head is his former companion Elder Xaba from Swaizland. The elder Rich is standing next to is his current companion Elder Wakabi from Uganda. They are standing in the church yard in Langa where they serve together. Rich thinks the razor wire is a nice touch. It also explains a little about Langa. Rich says people come up to he and his companion and talk in Xhosa to his companion which his companion of course does not know. Rich then answers in what Xhosa he knows and then the people are really confused that this white foreigner knows the language and the African doesn't. It is probably a good way to get people to talk to them.
He is happy and loves Africa and is sad that the time is going so quickly.

maybe it should say, "visitors welcome...enter at your own risk!" That is what the fence and razor wire are saying to me, anyways.
No it's saying welcome and be protected by our razor wire fence...
I miss that boy, really, I do.
That tall boy is Rich??? He is so handsome. It will be good to see him...in a while of course..
What a handsome missionary...but he looks different, like he's missing an organ or something.
By any chance would every fun person that lives within range be available for a cousin/friend play date extravaganza on July 12th in Bountiful? Anyone? Anyone?...You don't have to be a Stubbs, you can be a Green too, or any other, we just love you all and want to play!
OHH! That would be fun. I will try and come down that day if we can get away!! I haven't seen you forever!
hummm...Bountiful, don't know if I can make it. too far.
OF COURSE! I would love to see you. Are Chamberlains invited?
Absolutely! I really want to see everyone, and Abby will be in town then also...lets introduce these distant cousins to each other.
I am planning on being there. Oh yeah-- I haven't commented on the pictures-- love the "visitor's welcome". Reminds me of my trip to a high school in Oakland California.
Wow, since when did my little cousin get so big--and he speaks what language?
