I'm so impressed. One of these days I will be athletic again. I have enough inspiration--so many family members doing such great things. Good job!
I did compete, I did do all three events, and I did finish. I also bonked at the begining of the run. I had to run up a stair case out of the canyon and when I started to climb my legs cramped up big time! Then for the next mile and a half and shuffled until those muscle would relax. My first bonk - but I am 30 now.
