We loved Pennsylvania

Lyndon had an interview Monday at Penn State in Hershey Pennsylvania, so we decided to make a weekend of it and fly out the Friday before. We stayed with his aunt and uncle in Harrisburg (the capital) and got to see the Susquehanna river, and the capital building, among other cool historical buildings.

Then while Lyndon had his interviews on Monday, I played with his aunt Andrea and little cousins at Hershey Park. The picture you see above is the school that Mr. Hershey started for underprivileged children, which is still in operation today.

I took a tour of a fake factory where they pumped out chocolate smells and had a gift shop that was bigger than the actual tour space. I also looked around the "Hershey Gardens," hotel, and amusement park. The street lamps are large Hershey kisses (I thought I took a picture, but it was a short video clip-oops).

We also picked apples Saturday morning in the fog, that was tasty.

The area around the med school was beautiful! Rolling hills and large farms with beautiful homes. I wouldn't mind one bit if Lyndon got accepted there.

P.S. the Appalachian Hills, yes hills, are beautiful as well. We thought the leaves would have changed color by now, but it was green as can be with 90 degree weather and 90+ humidity. Whew!
P.P.S. Megan, if Lyndon would have gotten an interview in San Diego, I would have come in a heart beat to crash your digs, I swear!
