The Happiest Place on Earth

      Well It's been a week since my trip to california. I really like vaccations, but I don't like how it feels to get back. 

   So more on the trip to california. This was my first time going on a long distance vacation with just friends. In this picture you see the four of us who stayed the whole three days we went. on Thursday morning Craig Wilson (the gray button up shirt), Seth Vogel (the the white shirt), Caitlyn talbot (the girl in the white shirt ), and Katrina Burgon ( the orange flower shirt) all piled into Seth's little Honda and drove all the way to Los Angeles, California. I have never had a more enjoyable drive. Seth drove us to Saint George, and I got behind the wheel for the rest of the drive through Arizona, Nevada, and of course California. We lived at Caitlyn's grandma's hous

e the whole time we were there. By the end of the trip we all referred to this sweet little mexican lady as Momita.  

On saturday we got up bright and early so we could be among the first to get to Disney Land. We didn't have a single line to stand in as far as ticket purchasing went, but we had to wait in down town disney until the opened up all the rides at 9:00 am.  (As Caitlyn is demonstrating so nicely in this picture.)

My favorite rides were: Indiana Jones, 

the three mountain rides (space, thunder, and splash), Pirates of the carabien (which has been changed to include the new characters from the movies.) and last but not least, the tea cup ride.

This was my second trip to Disney land, but my first time on most of the above rides (in fact Pirates was the only one I had been on before. The other rides were closed during my first visit in high school.)

All in all, I loved Disney Land. We enjoyed be fooled by all the facades and loved joking about Disney's  Money making schemes.
