The Spudman awards really need to go to the Tator's, the Spectators, the moms and kids who waited patiently for the dads (and one mom) to play in the water and on their bikes! Here are a few shots of the Winners of the Tator-Thon. Zake and Royal cheered on Meredith, aka, Heidi Jackson. We had a picnic in Diane Carlson's back yard after the race.
Second Cousins Ian and Seth waited for dads Mike and Matt to race. These two are very hard to keep up with. Kudos to Jess and Wendy for a
greeing to stay ahead of these two for the next 15 years or so.
Her cousins call her 'Kinsie, but I decided to call her Mac for short. She had a hard time eating with no teeth. I'd like to see her eat corn on the cob! She and Brady waited with Kim for Jason to finish the race. After me, he was the oldest one in the family racing.
Wendy and Eliza also hung on and waited patiently for their dad, Mike (aka Richard) finish the race. We understand Mike "raced" off to a 6000 acre fire right after he got home from the race. Wow, the fun never stops in that house!
We don't have any shots of Jared, Abby, Afton and Ben, because they were napping at the neighbor's but we will surely get some today at the baby blessing of Ben and his twin cousins. There's a thought for future family reunions on the Carlston side, Ben and the Twins. Afton better get ready to defend herself.
Big Thanks to Diane for her hospitality. Larry and Shelly made it up, too and it was great to have them there. As Grandpa Green would say, "And a good time was had by all."
