Milking Competition

All right, I am tired of no new posts-- is that pathetic or what? This is my social life during the day, so what's up people?? Here is a new one just for fun. Rich and I found these old pictures at USU. One of them was framed and was blown up really large, I thought that they were kind of cool. It is an old milking competition at the Ag school as you can guess. I thought it would be funny to have a competition to see who could post the best captions for each photo. We can vote on the winner and then I will send the winner a prize. How does that sound? You have to post as anonymous at first so we don't know who put the captions, and we will vote according to the number you are-- ie. comment #1, comment #2, etc. I will post a poll on the side. When the results are in, I will send the winner a prize-- it will be good I promise, I just have to think of a good one. Have fun!

Photo 1:
Girl on left to herself, "Not so hard Gertrude, you know your goin' DOWN!!!"

Photo 2: The crowd froze in eager anticipation. All that could be heard was the rhythmical "splish slplish" sound of the warm milk hitting the bottom of the buckets. "This is my year." thought Gertrude..."My time. No one milks better....no one."

Photo 3:
Man in the tie on the left,"What the hell??!? That's orange juice in them thar buckets!"

These aren't USU. They are the AC. Grandpa Loveless graduated from the AC.

It has come down to this moment, who will win this milking competition, Idaho or USU? - (people in the background - "This is better than A USU football game!")

Photo 2:
(Man behind the cow on the left - I wonder what will happen if we slap this cow in the rear? I bet the milk spills (he he).

Photo 3:
(man in the bow tie - the university president) What a proud moment for our fine institution...This will go down in the annals of USU history.

Jared, you are supposed to be anonymous. (At least USU beat Idaho in football-- and yes, that would be more fun to watch than a USU football game- that was funny).

1. (both girls in their heads thinking) "yeah, I know, I'll do anything for a couple extra credits, I did bad on that last test."

2. (Man on far right)"Ooh, my back, my back guys, I'm stuck, uh, I it hurts...I can't move out of this position!"

3. (girl standing up is thinking) "oh, look at her gloat, she didn't need the extra credit as much as me and she has to go and win the competition. I saw her warming her hands longer than the allotted time..."

Photo 1: Jane looks suspiciously at the new "girl" and thinks, "man she's got big biceps" The new girl says, "may the best man...I mean girl win."

Photo 2: Jane looks on as the new girl signals the crowd to slap the cows in an effort to have them kick the milk buckets.

Photo 3: Dispite the new girl's efforts to cheat Jane is the clear winner of the competition. Later it was revealed that new new girl's name is Jim. Jim and Jane now live happily in farmington with 13 kids and 123 grand kids.
