Game time.

I am so ready for Spring. We have cabin fever really really really bad right now, and so I am going to start a game. Anyone is welcome to join, or just think I am stupid. Let's see who can come up with the most ridiculous name of a character in an imaginary book. I'll start.

Hijiggity McGurglefark-- A young Norwiegen homesteader. He can't make his living raising corn or wheat, so he turns to gambling. He meets his love, Bethanderly Cheeksashowin-- a barroom showgirl, while gambling in the game of his life.

Julie - did you just watch Maverick (Mel Gibson and Jody Foster...)?

The Mysterious Gooka-Roochoo Monkey. A collection of short childrens' stories about a solitary monkey who lives in the tree tops of a Brazilian rain forest.

The Gooka-Roochoo Money is an agile primate the size of a chimpanzee. He has a long slender body, a fuzzy white face with a short black snout. The fury around his eyes is black as are his his ears. His head and body are are a black and red combination. The Gooka-Roochoo Monkey has a long red tail and a white underbelly.
These short childrens' stories take place in the rain forests of Brazil, where when ever there is a child or a small animal in need of help the GR Money mysteriously appears from the canopy and rescues the imperiled party. If the small animal or child has been injured the GR monkey needs only to breath on the injury and it is healed. After the day is saved the GR monkey silently returns to the solitude of the forest top only to be seen again when there is a need of help.

Very funny! Loved it! I think you should really develop it and then publish it....nice. I like the money's magical breath.

I know some people with magical breath, but it's only magical in the morning...and it usually kills.

Snippins: A little bunny rabbit (with fur of a slightly pinkish tint) who has really sharp ears.

Lushus N. Long: A tall, dark, handsome predator with longer locks than he is tall.

Ye Old Spag: The narrator.

I have NO clue how this would work out. I'm glad you didn't ask for a real plot. :)

The GRM's breath smells like the flowers of the jungle - a sweet pleasing sent.

Yeah, I'm glad we don't have to give a plot either, but it looks like Julie and Jared have more than just names...Mike what do you have coming?

miew- the magical and alive bottle of elixir that heals anything that cries (also known as milk)

coo- the evil cookie monster

cacka- the evil cracker monster

SEWER DOGS: Tex and Mikey are two small muts who were washed away from their parents during a rainstorm in (insert big city's name). They ended up in a sewer and fight the patch-over-his-eye rat leader and his gang of vermin.

PS: sewer dogs special trick is that they can actually leave the sewer and get cool stuff from above - the rats are jealous. The dogs also help homeless kids by keeping an eye on them from the storm drains on the sides of the road. One of the kids is named alan.

PSS: my word verification was "kiessi" I think that was the rat kings girlfriend

What about Grenelda Thudpucker, a little white-haired Grandma from Bountiful who drives a bright red Firebird with a large stuffed bear sitting next to her...nah, no one would ever believe it.
My word verification is Riondwor--I'll bet you could write a book using only word verification inspired names. Good idea, Lyndon!
