Today we made a boat

I blame Curious George books. They make children
think that everything is so simple,
a monkey could do it. Of course, when Dad cannot,
he must be dumber than a monkey. After reading a
book about boats, we had to make a boat. It turns out
that Dad can do this one--with a little help from a
power saw. Leonardo helped us to test it out.

You thought that he looked good in pajamas.
You should see him in a sailor suit.
Today Leonardo set sail for the Seven Sewers.

That´s such a cool boat! The only boat I know how to make is a papel boat....at least I think I still know how to make it!

If I know the book you read, which I read twice daily...George makes a boat out of news papers that he doesn't deliver...is that the bok ou read? Your boat is pretty professional. Wood, lasts much longer than paper.

Dag nabbit-- that George causes problems at our house, only my kids don't have a parent creative enough (and patient enough)to do the experiments. Have you ever heard the disclaimer that the cartoon has in between each segment? "George is a monkey-- he can do things that humans can't do...) Do they really think that will stop kids from doing all those things?

By the way-- cool boat. Leo gets to do a lot of fun things.

I'm glad to see you are spending your time on the important things right now. Won't it be a bummer when you can't build boats with your kids some day? You're a cool dad.
