Yellowstone Bear World, located south of Rexburg, held a free public viewing of their new bear cubs. We couldn't pass it up. Of course, we discovered that the free part was waiting in line to see them. If we wanted to hold them and get a picture (getting a picture was the only way to get to hold them or see them at less then 10 feet away), it cost big money. Since we had told Ian that he could hold one, we paid for the picture. Here is a picture of that picture since our scanner isn't working.
The cubs were beautiful little creatures. They weighed about six pounds at two months old. They told us that the cubs would start gaining about a pound a week from now on. We were glad that we didn't miss it.

Too bad they have to sucker people in like that, but cool that you got to hold a BEAR!
That is really really cool. How often do you get to hold a bear cub? Check that one off the list of things you have don! Wow! I am surprised that they are only that small at 2 months old-- and they get to be so big so fast.
How cool is that, huh?!?!?
That really is an incredible memory. The kids will never forget. Wow
Amazing. I can't believe they only weigh 6 pounds at two months! How fun...do you know that you are all beautiful people? You are.
