I cleaned the whole "house" today in preparation of Mom coming out, because it needed it, and because I thought, hey I could use anything to get this kid moving a bit faster than Claire did. Consequently I have had some slight tight contractions, nothing big Mom, don't worry. Really Mom, nothing big-Plus, i really doubt that I will have energy to do anything but watch claire play at the playground tomorrow, so I'll be taking it easier than I want. (I did play tennis with a friend last week, but that didn't do a thing, nor did the full moon last night).
So, I thought I'd see what your predictions are for how long my labor will be. Winner gets to name the child
(JUST KIDDING, but maybe, just maybe if the name is good enough i will consider it) . Keep in mind that Claire was 2 1/2 days with 3 hours of pushing. And yes, those 2 1/2 days were incredibly painful-so it counts as labor.note: picture has nothing to do with the post, but what is a post without a picture? Plus, she looks so cute sitting on Joseph Smith's doorstep.

8 hours. It will be better this time. And don't come before I get there. And I bet the Smiths would be proud to know such cute little girls still grace their doorstep. And please don't kill yourself getting ready for me....its just me and I am coming to help remember?
Three days of painful contractions. Thirteen minutes of pushing. Her name will be Lucinda Pearl.
She'll come in the car on the way to the hospital. Josie Pie, 11.5 lbs, 23 inches.
First of all, it's a boy, your water will break and you will have 4 hours of labor and 1/2 hour or pushing and his name will be Ben or Jerry. You choose.
I bet it will take you 10 hours to deliver this baby... my mom had only 4 hours for the first and took her 2 hours to deliver me...isn't that fast or what?

Hmm...1 and 3/4 days...and 2 and 1/2 hours of pushing. But the 2 and 1/2 hours of pushing is in the middle of the night, sorry. :)
