Ideas...

Anyone have some new/old movies they have watched lately that they would recommend?

Follow Me Boys. It's a Disney feel food, but all in all quite a god flick. Maybe it's because I am a scout leader right now. Another good one is The shop around the Corner with Jimmy Stewart (the original you've got mail.)

Good flick rather...

Doesn't follow me boys have Kurt Russel in it? Does he have a mullet in that one too? Just think, he went on to star in "Road House Rules" and my all time favorite - Ghost. Ghost is a good old timer, remember when he said "scouts honor" in the movie and I was the only person who laughed?

The God Father is a classic, another classic is "The Shining". Let us know what you watch!

Jared you have some creepy taste in movies!!! Mike is watching 21 Jump Street lately. I just watched the newest version of Emma and loved it. We should have a movie swap day and trade our movies around.

Try Fawlty Towers on the netflix instant watch or all seasons of 30 Rock.

Also, Kurt Russel wasn't in Ghost, Jared. It was Patrick Swayze.

Ha ha!! I was wondering what part Kurt Russel had in Ghost...they do look similar-- mullets.

Thanks for the ideas. Jared-- the Shining IS creepy-- yikes!

Well if the shining is too creepy you could always watch the exersist, or poltergeist, or changeling. (the old one)

In truth, you can try Frequency. That's pretty good.

Oo Oo.... Kurt Russell in star gate, and Miracle. Miracle will probably get LL wanting to play hockey though.

Ooo! Ooo! I like movies. A great oldie is Prisoner of Zenda. Lots of (non-violent) action and adventure. Good for me and small children. I also really really like Forever Strong. It's the new rugby one. I also really love Secondhand Lions, Monsters Inc., Runaway Bride (if you're feeling chick-flickish), IQ (the nerd within just can't help but love Einstein when he yells "wahoo!"), Support Your Local Sheriff, Not Quite Human I, II, and III, The North Avenue Irregulars (oldie, and hilarious), What's Up Doc (also really hilarious), Operation Petticoat, Sneakers (totally amazing!)...can you tell my father is in the movie business? ...and Bolt was surprisingly good. Oh yeah, Over the Hedge, all the way.

I should stop now before I get excited. :)

Wow, to think that my entire life I have thought that Kurt Russel and Patrick Swayze were the same person - now that is embarrassing!

So does that mean Kurt Russel didn't recently die and that Patrick Swazye was a childhood actor?

Mullets can really confuse a guy...

Ha ha!!
Russel-- alive.
Swazye-- ghost.

Jared Stubbs said...

That is funny.

ha ha.

I think of them as

Russel-- brooding anger case

Swazye-- flamboiant flash dancer

okay, I am late, but here are some of my recent likes from netflix instant. My boys love: Mythbusters and man vs. wild. I have enjoyed Leverage, season 1 and season 2 ( it is kind of a oceans 11 kind of theme..bad guys trying to be good guys, and nabbing other bad guys) I also like the BBC television series of Robin Hood. Seasons 1 and 2, but three was horrible. There you go! Chic flicks I like are the new BBC versions of Sense and Sensability and Emma.
