So when I talked to Afton at your house she told me she was trying really hard to not call you guys mom and dad. When we got home she slipped and called us grandma and grandpa. A little longer with you guys she probably would not have recognized us and would not have gone home with us...

Ben and Afton are standing on the line you cannot step over with food. They are eating popsicles and so have come right to the edge where you can't step over with food.

Did the kids ever get dressed or did you let them eat Popsicles for breakfast? It is great to be spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa.
