The Bosphorus Straits looking at the Asia side from the European side (all in Istanbul)
This is a unique trip abroad for me with Mark. He had meetings and work all morning. So sigh.....I had to sit by the pool alone and then we walked the Mediterranean Sea beach together. There was a huge beach party for the company people tonight, the music is still going strong. They all speak Russian but they love to dance to American songs. Mike would be happy. They played the Eagles while I sat by the pool this morning. Go figure. Rich the food would remind you of Israel. We eat in a huge banquet hall for our meals where there is loads of cheese, yogurt, fruit and fresh vegetables. There was a huge block of honey straight from the beehive in its wax on a large plate. You just cut off a chuck and spread it on your bread. Seemed very biblical to me...you know the land of milk and honey. It was really good although I have to admit I was picking wax from my teeth after. But it was worth it. love to all

You are quite the world travelers! Love the pictures. I have been catching up with all your goings on. Looks so interesting and fun!
Sixteen-year old Mike would have loved to listen to the Eagles as he sat by the pool with you. Now I am totally into Lady Gaga.
Wow! I think the contrast is funny...you by the pool, NOT in meetings all morning. What fun!
Yummy!! I miss buying the big bag of pommegranates for cheap-- those look really good. I am so excited for what you are seeing. I hope you are having a great time.
By the way, Mom, you look pretty in that last picture-- you have a cool natural-beauty-of-a-traveler-by-the sea look-- a glow:) You didn't know that look existed, did you?
Lady gaga is cheep. good beat though.
Mom that pic of you is great! I love it!
