The following pictures are of one evening event where the people attending the convention wore their traditional dress. It was really fun. There are people here from Ukraine, Russia, the Baltic nations, Georgia, Kurkistan, Turjikistan(sorry for the mistakes in spelling...these countries were all part of Russia when I was a kid) Russian is the main language spoken here but there are also friends of Mark from Israel here and we are the few English speakers. If it wasn't for Cassie and her husband I would get really hungry for a little English by the end of the day. (I know ....no sympathy from my missionary kids. I understand better you first months in a new country) Dad wrote a contract with their American suppliers to ensure the receiving of product and if not the right to get their own product. He also wrote up the opening of Israel for their organization. He does good work. These are really hard working people trying to improve their lives and their children's lives. I am glad I got to see some of the people Dad's work is helping for the better. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

This is a mannequin but a good way to show why I feel slim and fit on the beach. This is a good example of what the people on the beach look like. I don't have to loose 20 pounds. I just come to Turkey!

Those are some great pictures-- I can't believe that mannequin! That is hilarious! I wish they had ones like that here, I think I would feel better about myself!
That mannequin is huge!! With little tiny feet. Did you get any furs?
I wish I were sexy like a Turkish mannequin.
Why is "why" tattooed to his chest?
Why not?
I think that "why?" is an entirely appropriate question in the context of giant sexy mannequins.
