We were a small group compared to years past but we were grateful to be together especially to have Grandpa Green with us. Randy and Mark bravely drove the roads for us to Sun Valley and we had a great time even in the sub zero weather. There are many good memories there. We had to remind them they had silver tea pots for the hot chocolate, but they found them and brought us our hot chocolate in the silver tea pots.
By Saturday we were back home and watched the BYU vs Utah game and tried to be gracious to Abby when the U won by one point. We had fun seeing everyone for a little bit.
We love you all and we are so grateful for family.

They FORGOT they had the silver teapots for the cocoa??? How could they!!?! Those are so great! Was Claude there or has he since long gone? Did you see Hemingway's daughter ice skating-- remember we saw her a few years in a row? That fireplace brings back lots of memories of family pictures in front and the line-up of the cousins telling our ages. I am so glad you guys got to go, how fun! (And GO UTAH!!!:)
Happy thanksgiving!
I'd love to be back there for Thanksgiving one day too!
Those aren't the same teapots, but they are passable. Glad you got to go back.
I'm so glad you made it. I heard there was a huge storm and was afraid it had deterred your travel plans. Happy Thanksgiving!
Crazy driving weather to be sure! I'm glad you guys had a nice time.
And really, thanks for being such gracious hosts to let me jump around and cheer for my team... Oh, and eat all your yummy guacamole.
