This is who I get to start my day with these days. She comes in the morning around 8:30. Her smile is a ray of sunshine and makes the winter look so much better around here.
I am craving sunshine after our thermal inversion and gray gray days. It was made worse by the fact I spent the weekend in San Diego for meetings and it was 72 degrees and the sun shiny. Would you believe I ended up in the same hotel we stayed in during the National Republican Convention and walked down the street to the San Diego Convention Center? It was almost weird feeling especially since I was alone and the last time I did that I had three kids with me and Mark not to mention millions of republican people milling around. That was 15 years ago! My how time flies.
So in short I am glad to be home catching up on blogs and tending my own ray of sunshine each day.

She is lucky to have such a doting Grandma!
Boy, my own kids aren't smiling at that time of day. You are lucky. I didn't know you went out of town too. That sounds like fun. That was a great hotel.
You went to San Deigo?! I'd like to spend time with that baby too.
Very cute!
ha ha favorite grand child!!! ;) we love waking up to this little ray of sunshine too. Though when she goes to sleep she's not so sunshiny...
I wish my kids were that sun-shiny in the morning;)
Rich goes to San Diego for his job in a few weeks, too. Lucky people.
