Arrival in Edinburgh
We arrived in Edinburgh Friday morning without our luggage. We paused to snap a shot of the castle in customs exit portal and a voice from the ceiling announced: "Photographs of airport security areas are prohibited - please leave immediately!" We ran out like kids.

Below is Mom at the doorway of our digs for three days, the Royal Scots Club on Abercrombie. It was founded in honor of the Royal Scots Regiment that fought for the crown. We'll have to find out if Mom's ancestor, John Bryson, father of Samuel Bryson who joined the Church was part of this regiment He was in the
6th Inniskilling Dragoons. A Dragoon is calvary. (Read all about it at:

This is Mom freezing to death without her warm clothes in the lost luggage (it arrived about 10 p.m.) and this Keith looking down the street to the Royal Scots Club about in the middle of the row.
