I did a great blog this morning for Tuesday's activities and it froze up and all was lost.  So, I think I'll post pictures with captions one at a time so as not to lose anything.

I'll do Tuesday, then today, Wednesday.  Right now it is about 10 at night. We spent the day on the Isle of Skye off the west coast of Scotland.  It is very rugged, full of sheep, and mostly bleak.  We had our usual pub food for dinner and now are in the room, the B&B.  The B&B's have really been great everywhere we've gone.

Tuesday:

Dunrobin Castle
A "Royal's" Castle. The family has married into royalty a few times. The head of the family is a Duke, an Earl (even though I was told England didn't have Dukes) a Marquis, and a couple of Baron titles to boot.  They get the land and prestige of their title.  This one "Southerland" started prior to the Normans, sided with the Normans, sided against Bonnie Prince Charles in 1745, and fought for the British.  They are still on the top of the heap; one of the Winners in the aristocracy game.
