Tuesday morning we first went to Dunrobin Castle. The Countess is 92 and lives in one of her many other homes. They do a wonderful job with gardens and the Falconry demonstration.

Dunrobin Castle
Still owned by Royals (married into the King's family several times.)
Mom says it looks like Sleeping Beauty's Castle. I think it looks like the Manti Temple. |

| This was the best Falconry demonstration ever. Film to come. |
We visited Culloden Battlefield. It was an eye opener for history. The English slaughtered the Highlanders who were trying to get Bonnie Prince Charles back in power. Here I am with a sword, a shield and in my shield hand a dagger. Ask mom how this system works. It is deadly.

| For dinner Mom had a Steak Pie and Chips (Fries), with smashed peas, a traditional pub meal. |

Everything about this looks fantastic. I would eat that food, live in that castle, and kill with that sword. Why wasn't I born in Scotland?
I was just thinking the same thing-- I could live there. Those "chips" look yummy.
If all of our ancestors hadn't left, I guess we could be living there:)
I am with mike on this one.
