I personally find it amazing that anyone would want to run 26.2 miles let alone do it. But two of my kids did just that on Saturday. Mike talked his sister Julie into doing the Portneuf marathon in Pocatello. It was Mike's second time. Both are excellent runners but this does take a lot of training and they did an amazing job. It was fun to be together and Wendy and Mike were such great hosts to us all. We really appreciated it.
Mike came in at 3 hours 32 minutes, Julie came in at 4 hours 6 minutes and Laura Lee was third in her age group of girls in the 1.5 mile race. I am inspired by you all.

Apparently the Stubbs Clan were posted front and center on the Facebook page of the marathon. Mike is too handsome to miss. I had a video of him running in but for some reason you will all have to help me with I cannot get videos to upload on the blog any more. Thanks Mike and Wendy. We had such fun.

Thanks so much for coming to support us! It was so much fun-- and I love that my pregnant sister was beating me on those last 400 meters. Pocatello put on a great marathon! Thanks Mike and Wendy for hosting all of us-- you guys are great.

That was really fun. And sure I was pregnant, but I ran only 300 or so meters! Not 26 miles!!!
