Partying in Newton
We partied in Newton again this year. It has become a tradition. We took the grandkids trick or treating while mom and dad ran the barn party which is a hugh Newton attraction(free hot dogs and cider and donuts....Yummy) The kids were a riot. SO ( aka a bewitching wolf girl) kept us in stitches with her dead on imitation of the Southern drawl. LL(local basketball player!) entertained us with their adventures in Kentucky. And little Daniel Boone and the firefighter were pretty entertaining in their own right. We had a great time. I neglected to take enough pictures but we got so busy the camera just didn't come out enough. Julie had great flashing devil horns. ( I really should have got a picture of that) Grandpa even got in some scary ghost stories to the kids including the Giant Pink Gorilla. Yes folks he is doing it to another generation. I just kicked up my feet and pretended not to listen to yet another version of the pink gorilla. It did its work. Julie had to lay by LO later and convince him there really was no pink gorilla.

Sounds like quite a party! Cute costumes!
It was so much fun to have you guys come-- we feel spoiled. The pink gorilla story was certainly a hit-- and yes, I did sleep downstairs with LO, even after I scared myself watching a clip the news did on ghosts on KSL-- yikes!!!
Sounds great. We need our own barn.
good job entertaining the town. Would have loved to be a part of it all!
