So fun to see the newest grand baby. She is a doll
Monday was Mission Leadership Council. So at lunch after I have given my lesson on grooming I headed home to be with the kids.
Tuesday we did La Jolla. We went to Birch Aquarium on University of California San Diego Campus, La Jolla Cove, the temple and just for good measure we finished up at the Mormon Battalion and ate dinner at Old Town. For good measure Mark and I went to the airport and picked up a new sister from Hong Kong and took her to the Battalion where we met up with Rich and Janae.

Dropping of a new sister to work at the Battalion. She was welcomed with great love and enthusiasm by the other Battalion missionaries.

So Wednesday we decided to do the beach. Poor Mark had to still do mission president stuff which meant he was interviewing all day. We decided on La Jolla beach.
Since it was Mark's birthday the missionaries kept dropping things off at our mission home door secretly all evening. It was really kind. No small feat to hike up our driveway.
Thursday Mark finished up and after we finished seeing Point Loma, he met us at the Midway and we all did the Midway together. The Midway is really cool and there is no way to see it in one visit. I could see it with every visitor and see something new.

Friday Mark took the whole day and we went to Balboa Park to explore. It was really hot. Like in the 90's so we didn't last all day. But we got some exploring in.
Friday night Janae's parents arrived with her sister Sarah, and brother Mackay. It was great to have them all here. Saturday Mark and I had to go to the Imperial Valley to speak with Elder Carl Cook at their Stake Conference. We got home late Sunday night. Then on Sunday we blessed Diana and ate a big meal of carne asada for lunch. It was a great visit. Now the house seems really quiet and we are going back to our routine. We love you all and love your visits.
We got our bishop to join the picture. It was a great day.
love you all. Can't wait to see you.
