We came to see the leaves and to be here when Lyndon went through his white coat ceremony. The white coat ceremony is to signify his entering the professional training.  It was an interesting meeting; we had a few professors professorize a bit, but it was interesting.     Here are the white coats all in a row, waiting to initiate a new crop of pre-md's.

Lyndon after becoming a white coater on the stage.   (T's are after S's so Missy moved back in the line of life, alphabetically speaking.)

Here is Lyndon after donning the white coat.  (He did take it off for the luncheon; wouldn't do to get food on it before he even saw a patient!  The tent in the background was full of wonderful food that we were very ready to eat by the time the ceremony was over.

This is Claire sort of eating Missy's blueberry pie she made for Dad's 58th Birthday Party. By the time she was through she had blueberry slime all over her front.  Makes for an interesting bathtub ring.

Before the morning session of conference we "strolled" not hiked to Boston Lot Lake above Missy and Lyndon's house.  The woods are full of trees, elms, oaks, maples, ash, and some Poison Berries!! Wow!!  It is really beautiful, like being in the middle of the Sawtooths with twice as many trees.  The trees are extremely tall, too.

Cool. Do you have to wear that same white coat the whole time you are in med school? How do you tell them apart if you leave it next to another one? "Hey, that's MY white coat..." "No it's not, that's mine-- see I ate BBQ sauce yesterday..."

It's called "pontificating" not "professorizing," just so you know...Like Owl from Whinnie the Pooh?...I am jealous of all the sights you see.

Congrats Lyndon! Although it makes me a little woozy to think of all the work in front of you, at least you're not doing it alone! And when do we get to play with the family??
