Ummm Guess I should write

Easy to fall out of a habit during the holidays.  We got so busy and family and friends were here so I forgot to write.  I won't attempt to tell you everything that has happened but we had a good holiday. The Tylers came and visited and we also had some very good friends from Orem come. It was a lot of fun. We had Christmas Devotionals with the missionaries and a Christmas program on Christmas day at the Marine Corp Recruit Depot. We did site seeing and swimming and fed about 10 missionaries Christmas Day along with the Tylers because they had no invites.  They work in the areas where it is hard for the members to always feed them. We attended a special Christmas Eve FHE at the Battalion with the Tylers. All our granddaughters fit in well with all the Battalion sisters. We even got the opportunity to take an apostle and his wife up to meet their family in Oceanside. We also picked them up a week later and deliver them to the airport. You get some unique opportunities in this job.
Now it is back to work and setting the tone for the new year.  We walked the beach at Torrey Pines at 7am this morning looking for polished rocks for Dad's talk at zone conferences
.  It was actually pretty fun. Thick fog. A place to park right on the beach. Sandpipers, Pelicans and of course seagulls. It is fun watching Dad come up with ideas like I would do for Girls Camp. We got some great rocks. I even handled a call from some missionaries where one was developing a migraine. Turned out to be a complex migraine headache. All in a mornings work. I'm learning to deal.
Now for some pictures.

The missionaries we took to the MCRD. The recruits were in awe of our sisters especially when they sang.

Great pictures! It is always good to see you. You keep very busy all the time. I haven't caught up my blog, maybe this week.....I am so tired from getting up early that I forget to do a lot of stuff!

Love reading the updates! Cute pictures! Wallace and I moved to Daybreak the day after Christmas. We are trying to find time to learn about the neighborhood. Our ward will split in a few weeks. It looks like lots of people are lacking of callings here. It’s very different from our previous ward. We love you guys and will continue praying for you and the missionaries.
